The reserved visa quota program is still in a current status without a waiting period

It can be observed that the EB-5 visa quota for the fiscal year 2024 remains substantial. In the new fiscal year, the quota for reserved visa projects reached 8,227, with an allocation of 1,005 visas for Chinese mainland applicants (including reserved and non-reserved projects).

Furthermore, it is worth noting that in the visa bulletin for October and November of the first quarter of the 2024 fiscal year, under the reserved EB-5 projects (rural projects, high-unemployment area projects, and infrastructure projects), Chinese mainland applicants enjoy a current status, meaning they can quickly obtain immigration visas as long as they apply.

For applicants interested in immigrating to the United States, the visa-reserved projects for EB-5 investment immigration are still in a policy dividend period. This provides applicants with an opportunity to seize the "fast lane" without waiting, expediting the process of obtaining a U.S. green card.

Additionally, according to the EB-5 new law, as long as applicants are in the United States, they can simultaneously submit the I-526 immigrant petition and the I-485 adjustment of status application, while also processing the AP travel permit and the I-765 work permit. This enables faster settlement and work in the United States under immigrant status.
